I have a very large LinkedIn network and have done very little with it. I'm looking forward to learning some techniques to utilize it as a tool instead of just collecting contacts.

Your comment is perfectly valid. I have a different presence on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter, yet they all fit strategically together to represent who I am and the work that I do. LinkedIn is not as exciting as Twitter, to be sure, but it is, in my opinion, a must-have presence for professionals. The different sites are not mutually exclusive nor are they redundant, if used effectively, they each can play an important role in increasing our visibility and reputation. Thanks for your comment - really!

Ah, see, I didn't realize that you were a LinkedIn expert.

So ignore that bit about boring and sterile earlier on Twitter.

Love my LinkedIn account. Love it.
